Registered physiotherapist, pelvic health physiotherapist
Owner, Prairie Pelvic Health
Past Chair, Women’s Health Division, Canadian Physiotherapy Association
Juliet took her first course in pelvic health 20 years ago while she was still a student and has been passionate about practicing in this area ever since. She has spent many years working in public and, more recently, in private practice and loves educating and empowering her clients to be active participants in their health and on their journey to recovery. Juliet believes in assessing and treating the whole person, using a biopsychosocial approach to healthcare.
Juliet has advanced training in pelvic health and stays current with the newest in pelvic health research and treatment by attending continuing education courses and international conferences. She feels honoured to have been involved with the development of the Saskatchewan Pelvic Floor Pathway (Saskatoon and Regina) and was pivotal in ensuring that pelvic health physiotherapy was accessible to men in the Saskatoon Prostate Pathway (St. Paul’s Hospital). She is also passionate about physiotherapy as a profession and has been volunteering with the executive of the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 2012, and is currently serving as past-chair.
Outside the clinic, Juliet and her husband Mike try to keep up with their three children: a tween and two teenagers. They lead an active life and love hiking and camping with the family and dog Martha.
